Passengers from the British cruise MS Braemar started disembarking at the Cuban port since 1 pm this Wednesday. The ship, that was carrying on board 682 passengers and 381 crew members, with 5 positive cases to COVID-19 and some others in quarantine due to cold symptoms, entered into territorial waters of the island this morning May 17, after some other nations refused to help.
Once the UK Secretary of Foreign Affairs, Dominic Raab, knew the decision of Cuba, said: We are very thankful with the Cuban government to allow this operation promptly and the tight cooperation to guarantee its success. Passengers onboard also showed their gratitude shortly before touching land.
