Camagüey in full color

Several notable painters, sculptors and potters have brightened the visual arts in Camagüey. Galleries abound in the city where the talent of the masters is combined with the young emerging generations. However, both in novels and consecrated is a reason to admire the figure of Fidelio Ponce de León, one of the greatest exponents of the first avant-garde wave of the thirties. The biggest event that gathers the artists of the province takes precisely its name: Fidelio Ponce Visual Arts Hall.
