Health Services in Mayabeque

The unique programs and procedures that the country has, lead the visitor along a path of differentiated and responsible treatment that is offered through hospital clinics, opticians, pharmacies and medical institutions, distributed, from east to west, in the destination Cuba. The possibility of academic exchanges and the enjoyment of natural wealth in order to improve the quality of physical and mental life, are also other options that promote health tourism.

The province has a Provincial Center of Information in Medical Sciences  in charge of guaranteeing updated scientific-medical information to health sector personnel and spreading the results of researches. It also has 20 polyclinics for primary health care to the population and 4 hospitals for secondary health care.
