It is a Company that since its foundation has maintained a cast and artistic programming related to the manifestations of Contemporary and Folk Dance. Created in January 1990 by the American dancer Elfriede Mahler and directed by the teacher, dancer and choreographer Alfredo Velázquez Carcassés. Its format and expressions make it the only one of its kind in the country and with a distinctive stamp on the work carried out for twenty years. It arises as a work proposal from the director, teacher and choreographer, Ladislao Navarro Tomasén at the Instituto Superior de Arte de Cuba (ISA). It was founded on October 7, 1993. Pedro Agustín Pérez House Museum
House Museum of the Major General of the Cuban Liberation Army Pedro Agustín Pérez, the only Mambí from Guantanamo who reached that level.
