Tourism in Cuba, First Visitors
According to the Ministry of Tourism's Twitter account, "the first foreign visitors that arrived to Cuba enjoy at the destinations Cayo Coco and Cayo Santa Maria" in the stage of recovering after the scourge of COVID-19 pandemic on the country.

The tourists, coming from Naussau, Bahamas, arrived to the international airport Jardines del Rey where they were applied the hygienic and health protocols stablished to detect any respiratory symptoms for the sake of preventing this desease spread.
Some of them are lodged in the Pullman Hotel on Cayo Coco run by the French chain Accor Hotels, facility that was certified under the condition for a "More Hygienic and Safer Tourism".

Vania López, nurse in the hotel, assures that all the hygiene, cleaning and protection measures are activated so that clients would feel safe and enjoy their stay.

Jardines del Rey, on the northern cays of the island, is one of the most visited tourist destinations in Cuba, along with other facilities that were certified with the condition of a "More Hygienic and Safer Tourism": Meliá, Cayo Coco and Playa Paraíso.
