The Haitian “Sunrise Airways” Airline will open a new route between Havana and Santo Domingo

The Sunrise Airways will open a new air route from the International Airport “Las Américas José Francisco Peña Gómez (AILA-JFPG)” in Santo Domingo, The Dominican Republic to Havana, Cuba. The Airline declared that the maiden flight to the Cuban capital is scheduled for the next December 5th. The flights to Havana will have two weekly frequencies, on Wednesdays and on Sundays, departing from AILA-JFPG at 7 AM, The Dominican Republic’s local time. The returning flights will be from Havana at 17.30, Cuba’s local time.

Philippe Bayard, Sunrise Airways president, declared that he is very pleased with the opening of this new destination in the Caribbean because it will place the airline “as one with the fastest growing in the area, surpassing 200 thousand transported passengers in first 10 months of 2018”.
