Castle of Salvador de la Punta
It stands at the entrance to the Port of Havana, twinned with the Castle of the Three Kings of the Hill and the Castle of the Real Force, forming part of the defensive system of Havana. After a capital repair at the end of the 20th century, the San Salvador de La Punta Museum was installed in the Castle. It was declared in 1982 a World Heritage Site.

Fortress of San Carlos de La Cabaña
The Cabin served as a prison and its moats sites for executions. In the twentieth century it lost its defensive character and served as a warehouse, troops and prison. It has a Weapons Museum and is the venue for cultural and recreational activities, including the Cannon Shot Ceremony at 9 pm.
East Bank of the entrance channel to the Bay of Havana
Old Square
It was founded in the late sixteenth century, but it was not until the seventeenth century that it became one of the main squares of the city for its commercial and social activity (festivals and religious celebrations). It constitutes a place of great value and tourist interest, It is surrounded by the Camera Obscura, the headquarters of the Fondo de Bienes Culturales, a small brewery and the Hotel Conde de Villanueva.

San Francisco de Asís Square
The Plaza inherited its name from the primitive convent of this order that was raised at one end in the late sixteenth century. In 1628 it became the main center of the village's activity. In the twentieth century it witnessed transformations and its space enjoyed better expansion and brilliance.

Main Square (Plaza de Armas)

Templete (Small Temple)
Located in the Plaza de Armas (Main Square). It has historical character and is a World Heritage Site. It was the scene of the first mass and cabildo, held under the leafy tree called ceiba (Silk-Cotton Tree). Every year on the eve of November 16, when the city was founded, the place witnesses the pilgrimage of hundreds of habaneros who have three laps to the Ceiba and put coins into their roots, while in silence they make a wish.

Cathedral Square
It integrates a set of elegant mansions of the aristocracy of the time, maximum expression of the baroque period of the colonial architecture that with its religious solemnities characterized the place. It has been the scene of various events of a historical, political and social nature. Considered the most attractive and harmonious of the continent.

Revolution square
Built in 1959, with the name of Civic Plaza, it has a base in the form of a star with a 109-meter-high obelisk with a viewpoint that constitutes the highest point in the city. On its forehead stands a marble statue of our national hero José Martí.
At its base is the José Martí Memorial, dedicated to deepening the life and work of the master. In one of its four rooms, political-cultural activities are developed.

Paseo del Prado
Originally called Alameda de Extramuros or Isabel II. Built in 1772. In it there are 8 statues of lions, made of bronze that seem to guard the walk. During its tour we can see the Fraternity Park (Parque de la Fraternidad), the Great Theater of Havana and at the end the ruins of the old Jail Building.
It extends from the Fountain of India and Parque de la Fraternidad to Malecón.

Central Park
It is surrounded by 3 traditional hotels: England, Plaza and Telegrafo. In its center is the first statue erected to José Martí in 1905, the work of the Cuban sculptor José Villalta Saavedra built in Carrara marble. One of the busiest places for habaneros because of its leafy trees and palm trees.

National Botanical Garden
The dream of building a green cathedral in the Cuban capital was a reality when this beautiful garden opened its doors to the public on March 24, 1984.
Natural exhibition center, shows part of the Cuban flora and the rest of the tropics of the world. It constitutes an educational, scientific and recreational institution with pavilions of exhibitions, laboratories, nurseries, a herbarium and an eco restaurant.

Forest of Havana
Project carried out by the French urban planner Jean Claude Nicolás Forrestier in the 20s. Currently, it is part of a huge project called Metropolitan Park, covers a territory of 678 hectares and includes the municipalities Plaza de la Revolución, Playa, Cerro and Marianao. It has a variety of botanical species and is considered the green lung of the city.

Lenin Park
It has an extension of 745 hectares. It is a popular site mainly on weekends and in the months of July and August.
It offers possibilities for cycling, riding, riding a steam locomotive or enjoying a picnic in the shade of leafy framboyanes. Founded in 1972, it has restaurants, spots for sale of light foods, amusement park, swimming pools, Cuban rodeo area and art galleries among other facilities.

Cristobal Colon Cemetery.
With sidewalks, streets and roads listed, provides the visitor with access. Filled with famous sculptures, it lacks one for which its name was given. This Necropolis is full of curious epitaphs, myths and legends such as La Milagrosa. Calle Zapata y 12, Vedado, Plaza de La Revolución.
La Rampa
Urban strip located in the most central area of the city. Its name comes defined by the inclination that this street takes in its five blocks, from L and 23 to Malecón. Its sidewalks show paintings by Cuban artists of recognized international prestige, so it becomes a traveling museum. Encouraged in its trajectory by a group of cultural, recreational and catering facilities.
