Canchánchara International Event, Tradition and Culture
Sponsored by the Musical Recordings and Editions Company, EGREM, this is an event that will take place from December 8 to 10, and brings together native traditions of the city of Trinidad with music and other artistic manifestations, a great celebration of town where you can enjoy the beautiful city, its unique Canchánchara, traditional Cuban music, excellent gastronomy and the talent of renowned national and international artists.
Nature Photography Contest
The Gaviota Tourism Group, year after year, invites you to participate in the Nature Photography Contest, which takes place in the Topes de Collantes Protected Natural Landscape, in the heart of the Guamuhaya mountain range and 20 kilometers from the city of Trinidad. . Topes de Collantes covers a rugged area of more than twenty thousand hectares in the provinces of Villa Clara, Cienfuegos and Sancti Spíritus, with elevations ranging between 250 and 900 meters above sea level. This protected area stands out for the richness and exclusivity of its biodiversity, it has an attractive landscape made up of lush forests, multiple rivers and streams with capricious waterfalls and natural pools of crystalline waters, capable of pleasing the most demanding ecotourist. The images are taken on trails, chosen by lottery among the participants: La Batata, Caburní, Vegas Grandes, Camino de la Barbera, Guanayara, Gruta Nengoa, Grau, Río Guaurabo, Mi Retiro, El Hanabanilla and Salto del Rocío.
