Dance is a very appreciated art by the people from Granma, mainly by the inhabitants of Bayamo. The houses of culture and dance schools in Granma are distributed in the different municipalities of the province, which are responsible for teaching dance classes for those interested.

Bienandanza
The Bienandanza Company was founded on April 29, 2009, directed by Yordanis Batista Barea. It groups the graduates of recent graduations. Its general objective is to demonstrate, through professional work, the creation of plays and scenic performances, with codes and languages very typical of dance, which defines the aesthetic line of the company. It also achieves effectiveness in communicating with viewers through a language that preserves, represents and defends the nuances, components and the most characteristic values of our nationality and cultural identity.
The company transmits the authenticity of our culture, from a contemporary conception with aesthetic and didactic elements that contribute and respond to the principles of an integral general culture as a reference of the manifestation in the territory. Among its choreographies stand out: Náufrago, Homenaje al Son, Estudio Coreográfico Trayectoria e Infortunio.
FOLKLÓRICO OKÁN ADDÉ
The company is directed by Luis Borrás Milanés and it was founded on October 4, 2000. It brings together people from all age groups, who have an interest in Yoruba dance and music, rescuing Cuban traditions. This group has left its mark on various generations of Manzanillo creators, with its sustained work it has achieved acceptance among the beneficiaries and direct stakeholders of the Project.
Its objectives are to influence the development of the musical heritage of our territory, taking into account Afro-Cuban folklore, its songs and dances; it contributes to increase the sense of identity in our town as well as its sense of belonging. This project has as a fundamental priority, intensify and promote cultural actions for population development. Among its shows are: Estampas campesinas, Ibolelé and Ayama, Guerrero Cimarrón, Oggún Trilogy, El Rey del solar, Conga Manzanillera, Wemilere and Todo Rumba.
Folkloric Ballet Granma
It is approved on June 16, 2017. It works with the music-dance manifestations that make up the mosaic of folklore, emphasizing the popular traditions of the province and songs, dances and music of peasants, as well as repertoires of the islands of Haiti, Jamaica and Cuba itself.
They also deal with aspects of the national culture, such as the songs and dances of the Congo cycle, the rumba complex, congas, pregones, comparsas, popular and traditional dances, among others. They work all Cuban folklore, but with an emphasis on local traditions, as a fundamental element for the strengthening and development of our traditional popular culture. Among his artistic repertoire are the following dances: Vodú Dance, Mi Salsa, La Caringa, La Chindonga, La Rumba del Solar, La Columbia, Siete Rayos. Oggún, Tumba Francesa, Congó Dancé.
GRANDANZA COMPANY
It was founded on May 15, 2000, by Felix Carballo Elizalde. The company maintains a well-defined line that shows its three fundamental objectives, the movement of its dancers through space, stretching and body strength. In each speech the energy and dynamics of his choreographic dialogues are revealed. The company addresses issues such as society, women and the popular culture. In its performances the company show that daily reality, conflicts, violence against women, and also gender equality. The dancers, unfold in each scenario with talent and consecration in order to reach the viewer.
