The Tobacco Route is to travel in the millenary culture of tobacco from the cultivation and process, to become a Cuban cigar. It has been for more than five centuries a culture rooted in Pinar del Río, the westernmost province of Cuba.
There, exclusively, the traveler can now enter and live the experience of knowing the tobacco tradition and appreciation of the cultural landscape in the land where the best tobacco in the world is produced.
Those interested will be able to visit sites of national reference in the elaboration of the tobacco as the vega Quemado del Rubí, of the recognized producer Héctor Luis Prieto, in San Juan and Martínez. They can also know the areas of despalillos and choosing, where the dry leaf of the crop is prepared and then converted into Cuban Cigars.
The Tobacco Route also includes visits to a manufacturing factory and shops where the most varied products related to the aromatic leaf can be purchased.

Adventures in Motorcycles
The tour starts from the point of rent located in the restaurant Casa Don Tomás, crosses the town of Viñales in the direction of the Valley of Silence with a stop at a viewpoint near the farm El Paraíso.
