TRANSPORTATION
Cuba has a road infrastructure and transportation system linking all parts of the country. The Viazul bus service is the most widely used and is a service of the Empresa de Ómnibus Nacionales de Cuba (National Bus Company of Cuba) oriented to the foreign sector. It offers regular transfers to and from all provincial capitals and main tourist centers in the country.
Through Viazul's website, reservations can be made in USD from abroad with international Visa, MasterCard and American Express cards. Cash payment is not accepted at the bus terminal. The reservation voucher can be presented in printed or digital format when boarding the bus. Through this whatsapp number +53 5212712 the client will be able to obtain information about its services, a new contact that Viazul makes available to its users.
Another transportation company for tourism in Cuba is Transtur, which has a large fleet of vehicles for the services offered by Cubacar, Havanautos and REX, for car rental. As a complementary offer for the safety and satisfaction of the market demands, it provides technical assistance on the road 24 hours a day. Cars and minibuses can be rented at most hotels and agencies in all cities and tourist areas.
